The Fine PrintPrivacy
Short version: we keep only what we need, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete all of it at any time.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, and phone number (for sign-in)
- Your dog’s name, breed, city, age, and story
- Photos you upload of your dog
- Anything you write in posts or comments
- Anonymous usage analytics — which pages get visited, how long members stay, what they click
What we don’t do with it
- We don’t sell it. Not to advertisers, not to partners, not to anyone.
- We don’t hand it to marketing lists.
- We don’t use your posts or photos in content outside the site without asking.
- We don’t keep your data after you delete your account.
What we do with it
- We use it to run the site — show your dog’s profile, match you to your archetype, let other members find your family.
- We use anonymous analytics to understand which parts of the site are working.
- If we ever launch a related product line (we plan to), we will tell you openly and ask for your explicit consent before using your data for it.
Your rights
- Access every piece of data we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your account and all associated data, any time, no questions asked
- Export everything you’ve ever posted
How we keep it safe
All data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase, hosted in Mumbai). Authentication is handled with industry-standard OAuth and phone-based one-time passwords. We enforce row-level security at the database layer — meaning even a bug in our app can’t leak one member’s data to another.
